December 7, 2023 Dr. Chuttree Phurat, Director of the Green Label and Environmental Label Division, Thai Environmental Institute, was invited as a speaker at the "BCG Industry: Deep Dive into Low Carbon and Sustainable Business Practices" event organized by the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM). The event took place from December 6 to 8, 2023, at the Best Western Hotel, Chatuchak, Bangkok.

The objective of the event was to enhance the competitiveness of medium-sized and small-sized enterprises (SMEs) by developing knowledge in business development following the BCG concept. It aimed to promote the use of innovation to increase production efficiency in line with the circular economy and low-carbon society, along with guidelines for eco-friendly product labeling and standards. The training had 50 participants.

As part of the event, there were booths for promoting the Type 1 Green Label and Environmental Label of Thailand. These booths aimed to disseminate useful information, including the certification process for green labels, products and services that have received green label certification, and the benefits for SMEs in obtaining green label certification. This initiative is designed to support the potential of SMEs in sustainable business practices following the BCG framework.
