TBCSD Carbon Neutral Trip activity arranged in the beginning of November 2009 has been accomplished. We do hope that all of you have recovered from the exhaustion.
In this activity, there were 43 participants from TBCSD members and presses joining the journey. In the first day, we went to donate stationery and other school supplies to 3 schools in Lampang province and donate dharma books to Wat Jam Tar Hern, Lampoon province. On the next day, we traveled to Doi Sa Ked, Chiangmai province for building 3 check dams and for planting 500 trees. Check dam construction was completed very fast. It took about just 2 hours to construct 3 high-quality check dams.
On the last day of the activity, we traveled to Doi Sa Ken Community Learning Center, Chiangrai province to donate financial budget for building tree nursery, as wee as, insect and tree species display boxes. We also planted the other 100 trees at Doi Sa Ken. Then, we went to Wat San Sai Noi, Chiangrai province for donating dharma books and kitchen wares.
